When you’re not dining at one of the area’s outstanding local restaurants, prepare a home-cooked meal in the gourmet kitchen, fully equipped with an island, deluxe appliances, and chic stone and wood flooring, while your companions play a game of air hockey. Afterwards, retreat to the backyard terrace to soak in the hot tub and admire views of the sparkling Salt Lake basin and city lights. You won’t have to worry about missing your favorite cable show or game while on vacation - with 4 LED flat screen TVs (3 - 55"), everyone can watch the show of their choice. Park City, the area’s most celebrated resort (and newly crowned largest in North America), is located within 30 minutes from the house. Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude are even closer at 6 miles away from Big Cottonwood Canyon. As soon as the snow has melted, the slopes become a world-class mountain biking and sport climbing mecca. Hikers will find miles of pristine trails in the Wasatch range, Millcreek Canyon is 1 mile away. The fishermen in your group will be delighted by all the trout fishing opportunities available, with so many rivers and lakes in the area. No matter the season, downtown Salt Lake City offers delicious restaurants, charming shops, first class Convention Center and the beautiful University of Utah campus, all within 15 minutes from the house. If you’re in the area during basketball season, don’t miss a Utah Jazz game. The possibilities are endless in Salt Lake City, but they all begin when you book this phenomenal home!
The Skinny: We live out of state but LOVE Utah for the mountains and unique character of the city. This is not a full time vacation rental. We take limited reservations so we can use the place as we want and to keep the wear and tear on the property down. Please inquire with any dates you would like to reserve our house. We book on a first come first serve basis. 3 night minimum stay required (longer stays preferred).
